These terms govern your use of Loprar Pos. By creating an account and using the platform, you accept what follows. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use the service.
1. What the service is
Loprar Pos is a point-of-sale platform for retailers. It records sales and orders, tracks stock, manages registers, locations and users, and issues electronic receipts through ARCA. It runs on the web and on Android devices, and keeps working offline: sales recorded without a connection sync once the internet is back.
2. Sign-up and account
To use the service you must create an account with accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done from your account, including by the users you add. If you detect unauthorised access, tell us immediately.
To open an account you must be of legal age and have capacity to contract, either on your own behalf or on behalf of the business.
3. Pricing
Using the platform has no monthly subscription, no setup fee and no per-user licences. Every feature is available from day one.
We charge a fee of 0.3% on each sale or order recorded on the platform, capped at $80 per location per month. Past that cap, no further fee is charged for that location in that month. If you record no sales, you pay nothing.
The fee is calculated on the amount of each recorded transaction and invoiced monthly. We do not withhold funds from your payments: you collect the money from your sales through whatever means you use, and the fee is invoiced separately.
We may change the fee or the cap. If we do, we will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email or inside the platform. If you disagree, you may close your account before the change takes effect, at no cost or penalty.
4. Electronic invoicing
The platform issues receipts through ARCA at no per-receipt cost. For this to work, your tax situation must be in order and you must grant us the authorisations the authority requires. You are responsible for the accuracy of the tax details you enter and for meeting your tax obligations. We do not provide accounting or tax advice.
5. How you must use it
In using Loprar Pos, you agree not to:
- Use it for illegal activity or to record fictitious transactions.
- Attempt to breach the security of the system or access other accounts' data.
- Resell, sublicense or transfer access to third parties without our authorisation.
- Automate access in ways that degrade the service for others.
- Upload third-party data without being entitled to do so.
If we detect a serious breach, we may suspend the account. Unless there is immediate risk, we will notify you first and give you the chance to put it right.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service continuously available, but we cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted. There may be outages for maintenance, because of failures at third parties we rely on (connectivity, ARCA, infrastructure providers) or due to force majeure. Where maintenance is planned, we try to announce it in advance and carry it out during quieter hours.
Offline capability lets you keep recording transactions without a connection, but features that depend on external services, such as issuing receipts, require connectivity.
7. Your data
The data you put into the platform is yours. We process it in accordance with the privacy policy. If you close your account, you may ask us to export your information before we delete it.
8. Intellectual property
The software, brand, design and documentation of Loprar Pos belong to us. Opening an account grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use it, limited to the period your account is active. It conveys no other rights.
9. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care, but we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or lost business opportunities. Nor are we liable for decisions you make based on the information in the system, or for errors arising from data you entered incorrectly.
Nothing here limits the rights available to you as a consumer under Argentine Law No. 24.240 on Consumer Protection, where that law applies.
10. Cancellation
You can close your account whenever you want, with no minimum term and no penalty. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and the fee for transactions recorded up to that point is invoiced.
We may discontinue the service on at least sixty (60) days' notice, giving you time to export your information.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change is significant, we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or inside the platform. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you are deemed to accept it.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be heard by the courts determined by the applicable rules, including those set by consumer protection law where it applies.
