This policy explains what personal data we process when you use Loprar Pos or get in touch with us, what we use it for, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights over it. It covers the platform, this site and our support channels.
1. What data we process
Account data
Name, email address, phone number, tax ID, legal name, business address and billing details. You provide these when you create the account, and we need them to identify you and issue invoices.
Business operation data
Recorded sales and orders, products, stock, registers, locations, users and the receipts issued. This data is either entered by you or generated by your use of the system, and stays associated with your account.
Your own customers' data
If you load your customers' data into the platform, we process it on your behalf and solely to provide the service. In that relationship you are the controller of that data and we act as a processor: we do not use it for our own purposes and we do not pass it on to third parties.
WhatsApp contact data
If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your profile name and the content of the messages you send. We use them to reply, follow up on your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to provide support. The conversation travels over WhatsApp's infrastructure, which has its own terms and privacy policy.
If at some point we send you automated messages (a summary of your sales, for example), we only do so after you have given express consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us on the same channel.
Technical browsing data
Visiting this site records the usual technical data, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We use it in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it running.
2. What we use it for
- Signing you up, identifying you and letting you use the platform.
- Providing the service: recording sales, tracking stock and issuing receipts.
- Issuing invoices for your use of the service and meeting our tax obligations.
- Answering your questions and providing support.
- Notifying you of changes to the service, the pricing or these policies.
- Preventing fraud and misuse, and complying with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it to build profiles for third-party advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We only share data where it is needed for the service to work:
- ARCA (the Argentine tax authority): the data needed to issue the electronic receipts you request from the platform.
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, database and notification services, which process the data on our instructions.
- WhatsApp: when the conversation happens on that channel.
- Authorities: where a law or a court order requires it.
Some of these providers may be located abroad, which may involve an international transfer of data. Where that happens, we require them to apply an adequate level of protection.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you close it, we delete or anonymise the data, except for what we must retain under legal, accounting or tax obligations, which we keep for as long as those rules require.
5. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration: traffic is encrypted, access is restricted per user and activity is logged. No system is infallible, so please look after your credentials and tell us as soon as you notice anything unusual on your account.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access your personal data, correct it if it is wrong, update it or delete it where applicable. To do so, write to the contact address shown above stating what you want to exercise. We reply within the timeframes set by law.
Under Argentine Law No. 25.326, data subjects may exercise their right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated, as provided in section 14, subsection 3 of that law.
The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the supervisory authority for Law No. 25.326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims brought by those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with data protection rules.
7. Cookies
This site only uses the cookies it needs to function. If we add analytics or third-party cookies in future, we will say so here and ask for your consent before enabling them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the service or the applicable rules change. Where a change is significant, we will tell you by email or inside the platform. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
9. Contact
For any question about this policy or about how we handle your data, write to the address shown in the controller details at the top of this page.
